Xu Niansha, president of China Machinery Industry Federation, said recently that from 2012 to 2021, the scale of China's machinery industry import and export trade has continued to jump, and the total import 

and export trade volume has increased from US$647.22 billion in 2012 to US$1,038.658 billion in 2021. Against the background of the downturn in the world economy, it broke the trillion dollar mark for the first time.

 The export value increased from US$350.6 billion to US$676.54 billion, and the trade surplus increased from US$53.9 billion to US$314.422 billion, a record high.

According to Xu Niansha, over the past ten years, China's machinery industry has insisted on carrying out foreign exchanges and cooperation to promote the realization of a high level of opening to the outside world. 

Machinery products are exported to more than 100 countries and regions. Made in China and Chinese equipment are world-renowned and spread all over the world.

The proportion of machinery industry imports and exports in the country's total foreign trade will increase from 16.74% in 2012 to 17.16% in 2021. Among them, the proportion of imports increased from 17.11% to 20.11%; 

the proportion of trade surplus increased from 23.36% to 46.48%. These fully demonstrate the important position of China's machinery industry in the global manufacturing industry chain supply chain.

In addition, the export trade structure has been continuously optimized. Over the past ten years, the structure of China's machinery industry's foreign trade export products has been continuously optimized, 

and it is rapidly upgrading from processing trade and low-end products to general trade, products with high technical content and high added value, and complete sets of equipment. In recent years, the general trade 

exports of the machinery industry accounted for nearly 70%. The export of traditional advantageous products in the machinery industry such as auto parts and low-voltage electrical equipment has increased significantly in recent years. 

The export of complete automobiles, construction machinery and other products has outstanding performance. In 2021, the export volume of complete automobiles will exceed 2 million. In construction machinery, excavators,
